Just because it's March, that doesn't mean powder days are over for the season. Revelstoke Mountain Resort in BC had one of the best days of their year this week. Alaska's Alyeska Resort is reporting a season total of a whopping 664 inches, with much of that falling in the last couple of weeks. And New Hampshire's Waterville Valley is reporting a foot in the last week.

Almost four days after a massive rock slide closed a key Colo. I-70 ski corridor, traffic was flowing again in both directions. Extensive repairs are still needed, but a 200-mile detour is no longer required to drive to the Aspen valley and Steamboat region.
