Atomic Blackeye Ti vs Crimson Ti

I'm looking at the Blackeye and Crimson. I'm 6'1" 170lbs and an L7-8 skier. What's the main difference b/ the models? I ski groomed blues and blacks equally with the occassional double back. Generally stay away from bumps.

Go Black Eye for the use you describe. The 2 models are from the same pedigree so the behavior is similar. The differentiation is that the Crimson gives more verstility if you are skiing off piste.

Yeah, for what you're doing, and your size and ability level, the Blackeye should be plenty. Main diffs are that it's narrower than Crimson (79 instead of 86) and it doesn't have metal (which is why it's a lot cheaper). So Crimson (one of my favorites) is more powerful—more edge grip and stability at speed, because of the metal—but the Blackeye is livelier and more easygoing.
