It depends, if your going with other experienced skiers I would go to either Wildcat or Cannon, these are great skiers mountains. If your bringing the kids I would go with Attitash which has great kids programs as well as being a decent mountain for the grown-ups. I hope this helps.

I agree with the ansewr above. If there is a lot of snow you may want to try a small, "old school" mountion: Black Mountain. Great glades and family friendly.

With the rain this week, ELEVATION matters most. That means looking at Bretton
Woods and Waterville Valley, which got over a foot of new snow last week...and may keep more than the others mentioned above. Only the limited choice of food and lodging affects B Woods, while Waterville has more choices, and Plymouth is just 20 minutes away, with several choices. In Maine, both Saddleback, recently invigorated, inexpensive, and great vertical, and Sugarloaf, which has for 30 years been the choice for spring skiing in New England, will be going well into April, unless it gets to tropical weather.

It depends on what type of skier you are and whether you are looking for groomed trails or steeps, or family amenities? Cannon has the vertical and it is great when it has snow--but it can be very icy when it doesn't have snow. Loon is a nice comfortable family place with diversified terrain. I like Wildcat for the long windy trails and I skied there last weekend and it was awesome. They also have only charge you $39 for your second consecutive day of skiing. Good luck.
