After a three-year hiatus from the U.S. marketplace, Carrera unveiled its American line at SIA 2012. Top-of-the-line helmets include the men’s Enigma and the women’s Paradox (both $160), with M.A.S. (Multi Air System) active ventilation, seamless goggle integration and Carrera’s new Thermo Cool liner, a technical fabric designed to respond to the wearer’s heating and cooling needs.

Carrera’s goggle lineup features the men’s Clif ($130–$150; pictured with the Enigma helmet) and the women’s Mirage ($90–$110), available in seven and eight lens colors respectively. Both offer Carrera’s patent-pending MPS adjustable internal nosepiece, which can adapt to any face shape; sealed lenses to ward off fogging; and maneuverable outriggers for a proper fit with a helmet. Considering the company has been manufacturing sunglasses since 1956, they know lenses. Glad to have them back in the game.
