Park City Mountain Resort is one of the most accessible resorts in North America, just 35 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. The Town Lift connects the Resort to Historic Park City, home to 100s of shops, bars, galleries and restaurants.
Park City Mountain Resort’s popular Signature 5 all-day ski and snowboard school program for kids ages 6 to 14, guarantees no more than five students to one instructor. Younger kids, ages 3.5- to 5, benefit from the Signature 3 program—which limits class sizes to three students for more personalized instruction.
The small class sizes pay off. Children make friends faster. Instructors love the small class sizes because they can focus on teaching rather than counting heads, and they can ride one of the Resorts many six-pack chairlifts with their entire class. Signature 5 allows participants to enjoy lunch in any restaurant on the mountain with kid-friendly menus. Kids get to pick their favorite, whether it’s a burger, salad, or pizza
The on-mountain adventures go way beyond the Kids Signature Programs. Recently introduced Adventure Alleys, allow exploration through the trees, even for advanced beginners, on groomed runs. Plus, the Resort is home to three terrain parks and the massive 22-foot Eagle Superpipe.
Once the ski day is over the adventures continue on the Alpine Coaster (a roller coaster in the mountains) and Flying Eagle Zip Line. Plus, the Resort also owns and operates Gorgoza Park, lift-served tubing and snow play area located just eight miles from the Resort.
Park City Mountain Resort has several tools to make it easy to plan, experience and create memories that will last a lifetime. Check out snowmamas.com, a website focused on making the winter family vacation easier. Download the Park City Mountain Resort app to your iPhone, iPad or Android device. It allows you to plan a custom tour around the mountain, track data through the day and share their stats and photos with your social network. It also gives you the ability to reload your ticket with additional days.
Park City Mountain Resort is indeed a family friendly resort. Getting here is easy. Making the decision to leave is hard.
