VAIL, Co — With an aggressive run right from the start, Bode Miller stormed to the finish, taking first for the third time at Birds of Prey in Beaver Creek.

"I took as aggressive a line as I’ve ever skied here, and it was almost error free," Miller said.

Swiss skier Beat Feuz was .04 of a second behind. Austrian Klaus Kroell rounded out the podium, trailing .14 behind Bode's winning time.

Meanwhile, in Lake Louise Lindsey Vonn won the Downhill race in her eighth victory on the course.  Alice McKennis finished eight.

The last time the U.S. double topped the podium was in 2004, when Vonn and Miller won the same events.
