Japanese team develops a tool to help understand skiers' movements

We knew it would come to this. A team of researchers in Japan has built a skiing robot, hoping to use the machine to explain the complex physical motions skiers use in their sport. The robot has completed several successful runs on an 11-meter slope of artificial grass, according to PhysOrg.com. We can see why they'd need a robot -- who wants to ski on grass?
