Fires Under Control at Bridger Bowl

Firefighters in Montana are welcoming colder temperatures as they battle flames near Bridger Bowl ski resort outside Bozeman. The fire began over the weekend, on a hot and windy Saturday afternoon; by Sunday it had reached the Bridger Bowl parking lot, but hadn't yet hit the ski hill. Over 350 acres are affected, most of it on private land -- though no structures had caught fire as of Sunday night. Traffic around the area was restricted and a helicopter was called in to drop water on the blaze., but no resident evacuations were called.
