Oregon's biggest resort won't charge as much for bad ski days

How many times have you headed for the mountain only to find the skiing less than phenomenal? Oregon's Mt. Bachelor is trying a new sliding-scale pricing scheme this year, hoping to better match the cost of a lift ticket with the value of that day's skiing. If the weather's ugly and only some lifts are open, you'll pay $49. If the wind's bad, but all the lifts are running, that'll be $59. And if the sun is out and everything's peachy, you'll pay the standard $69. Via: Skiing Examiner
