Battle Mountain project in Minturn changes hands

The long-embattled push for a private resort on Minturn, Colorado's Battle Mountain is on hold, the Summit Daily News is reporting. Developer Bobby Ginn, whose Battle plans included a members-only ski hill along with luxury condos and a golf course, has handed over his stake in the project to Crave Real Estate Ventures. While the resort plans are expected to proceed, the economic downturn and a raft of legal issues have slowed those plans considerably.

So another place I'll never have the opportunity to enjoy won't proceed.  Great!  More open lands and beauty for me to look at.
