Lifetime passholders say Vail is breaking agreement
It must be lawsuit season: Vail Resorts is getting sued by a group of Keystone ski resort "lifetime" lift pass holders. Jury selection was held Monday; testimony from the first of the 20-strong passholder group began yesterday. Early Keystone investors were given five such passes for every $25,000 invested. In recent years, some pass holders have been renting or otherwise loaning out their passes, a practice Vail Resorts sees as a problem. Vail Resorts bought Keystone in 1996; they stopped honoring the lifetime passes in 2006.
