Got $279K? A small Montana ski area is looking for new owners, or it will close shop this season.
Teton Pass Ski Area, a 26-trail operation in the Montana Rockies, will see its two lifts grind to halt this winter if new buyers aren't found. The resort has been on the market for the past few years at the asking price of $279,000. A lucky buyer inherits a 1,1010-foot vertical drop across 114 acres, with 3,400 skier visits tallied last season. A fine community hill. And with upwards of 250 inches of average annual snowfall, we see plenty of potential here, indeed. It just needs a little love.
