Ski goggles are so useful. They keep snow out of our eyes as we schuss down the mountain, they dim the sun on overbright bluebird days and keep our corneas healthy, and modern polarized lenses can even improve our vision. Plus, when combined with a nice black balaclava, goggles also make a pretty great getup for robbing the local Gas n' Sip. A man wearing just such an outfit held up a Speedway Station convenience store over the weekend in Symmes Township, Ohio. Around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, the man, wearing ski goggles, a ski mask, and ski gloves -- and carrying a revolver -- demanded money from the Speedway clerk. When the clerk refused, the masked man leaned over and began to grab what cash he could from the register. The clerk, meanwhile, hit him over the head repeatedly before the robber ran off. While his identity is unconfirmed at this time, we're gonna go ahead and bet he's probably a snowboarder.
