New owners are working to crank lifts December 1
A little bright spot in the intersection of skiing and economics: Wyoming's Big Horn Ski Resort is planning to reopen after its demise last season. Big Horn's new owners are working to repair, replacing and renovate its infrastructure, including lifts, generators and the lodge's food kitchen; they hope to open December 1. “I don’t think it is right to sell tickets and passes before we get the OK from the Forest Service, I should be selling them now, but I am morally struggling with that,” Jones told the local Buffalo (Wyo.) Bulletin.
