Over the years, we’ve learned to keep our ski goggles handy during the offseason. We’ve slipped them on for impromptu motorcycle rides, while chain-sawing lodgepole pines for firewood and during particularly muddy single-track mountain bike descents in a number of ski towns. But we’ve never thought of wearing them to keep champagne out of our eyes. Then again, we’ve never won a World Series Championship.

Ski gear is very important but seeing well is fundamental. This could compromise your safety besides affecting your overall performance if you can't see properly. There is a large variety of designs available on the market today, but the main focus should be safety and performance. Besides offering UV ray protection, prescription ski goggles will keep you eyes free of snow, dust and debris as you travel downhill at full speed.
