Deer Valley Deals for Sundance Week

Personally, we've never been to the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. We've been to Robert Redford's Sundance Resort and bombed some runs in a manner worthy of a ski film and eaten some of the finest food in ski country at the Tree Room. But the film festival? Nope. We always thought the on-slope crush of stargazers would be too much for us. But a little birdie told us recently that the big secret of Sundance is that no one's skiing during the festival. They're too busy signing autographs or drinking Red Bull or -- who'da thunk it -- watching movies. Deer Valley is hoping you'll take advantage of the post-Christmas, pre-President's Week Sundance lull and hit their exceptionally groomed slopes. From January 17 to February 9, 2010, buy three nights at select Deer Valley properties and get the fourth night free. Additionally, they're offering 25 percent off lodging and adult lift pass packages from December 5 to 25, 2009; January 3 to 14, 2010; January 17 to February 9, 2010; March 22 to April 12, 2010. Alright, so none of those dates are during Sundance Week -- it's still a sweet deal. Pop Downhill Racer in the DVD player and call it even.
