Whenever we have a winter when we can just never make it to the mountain, we call it the the ugly season. Work or other so-called priorities get in the way, or we're injured, or life is just not opening itself up to some ski time -- we struggle through such times. And we're sure you do, too.

During those dark days, we thank heaven for the Internet -- and for video clips like these, provided by Snowbird Ski Resort. There's no "point" per se; no timeless, Aristotelean narrative arc. Just fat powder, fat skis, and a lot of smiling. Enjoy.
