Flying Over Chamonix
Flying Over Chamonix

This helmet camera footage shows a ski flyer—someone with skis and a parachute—literally soar from the top of Chamonix's 12,600-foot Aiguille du Midi, over an avalanche, to the valley floor. You're going to want to watch this—trust us.

Wow, that is insane! How much bottle do you need to be able to do that, one gust of wind in the wrong direction as you jump from slope to slope and you could end up having a real bad day!
Launching so high up means the flying possibilities are immense. Either a quiet glide over Chamonix for 35mins or pass by Les Aiguilles de Chamonix heading in the direction of Les Drus or take a high transition to Le Brevent where anytime before late pm it is worth heading for the Brevent thermals.
I´ve been there recently with my son and we´ve got the Vallee Blanche descendent . It´s amazing. I´ve already booked a trip this april again. Chamonix is one of the best off piste I´ve ever skied followed by Val Thorens (Le Trois Vallee) at the French Alps.
Take a try!
