Shake Your Grüv Thing at The Canyons, Utah

If you’d rather spend your Spring Break skiing than sunning yourself on a beach with a bunch of boozey college students, you’re not alone.

The Canyons Resort in Park City, Utah, will be hosting its 3rd Annual Spring Grüv from March 26 through April 4, featuring live concerts by Big Head Todd and The Monsters, ska legends Fishbone, funk favorites Robert Randolf and the Family Band, and The Soulistics. If music isn’t your thing, enjoy the pond-skimming competition, the Canis Lupus Challenge race down a one-mile natural halfpipe, or a reinactment of the 1976 Winter Games, sponsored by Red Bull, where skiers do it old-school (one-piece ski suits are strongly encouraged).  In conjunction with the festival, the Canyons is offering lodging and ski deals.
