Telluride announces it will spin its lifts until 5 p.m. on spring afternoons. Soft snow, spring air, sunsets...Hope it's a trend that catches on fast.
This is huge. Finally, a resort hears our pleas: Telluride announces that it will spin its lifts till 5 p.m. on these long spring afternoons.
We’re speechless. The move is so patently obvious. Who wants to get up early to ski snow that won’t soften till midday? Who wouldn’t want to ski later, when the skiing’s at its best and the light is at it’s most beautiful. And sneaking out of work early for a couple runs and a sunset? Bravo, Telluride. And we hope resorts everywhere take note.
