Lindsey Vonn set to appear on NBC's "Law & Order"

As they say in Hollywood: There are no small parts, only small actors. Olympic gold medalist and World Cup overall champion Lindsey Vonn certainly isn’t too proud to play a bit role on her favorite television series: NBC’s "Law & Order." In fact, according to her Facebook page she’s on her way to New York City to begin filming: “I'm so excited I can hardly stand it.”

Vonn will play an administrative assistant with a vital clue to a terrorist plot in the season’s final episode, set to air in May. She'll share screen time with series stars Jeremy Sisto, Anthony Anderson and Alana de la Garza.

Vonn joins the ranks of Olympic athletes-turned-actors—a trail blazed by track and field sensation Bruce Jenner in the early '80s when he appeared in a spate of sentimental made-for-tv movies and episodes of "The Love Boat" and "CHiPs." Ever the TV star, Jenner plays himself nowadays on the reality show, "Keeping up with the Kardashians." (Check out this clip from the family’s snowboard trip to Breckenridge, Colorado.) You don’t have to look far to see athletes from the Vancouver Games on the tube, whether it’s figure skater Evan Lysacek “Dancing with the Stars” Mondays on ABC or short track speed skater Apolo Ohno making a guest appearance on "Project Runway."

The obvious is "what Jarden's management is really doing with the Rossi business ?" Definitely falling asleep with Marker, K2, Volkl, Coleman on the pillow too. Mancuso was superb and so what from New York ? Vonn, let her go ..., Jones, good bye, ... How can you fall from so high to so inconsistent in five years ?
Enjoy your fantastic 2010 late season snow.
