Alex Bilodeau
Canada’s Olympic gold medalist in men’s moguls, Alexandre Bilodeau, is scheduled to teach ski camps at Whistler this summer.

Alexandre Bilodeau, the first Canadian ever to win gold on home soil at the Vancouver Games, is an icon in his country. This summer, the moguls champion will coach young skiers at the 19th Annual Momentum Camp held in Whistler, BC—a camp that he attended as a preteen.

Exclusively for skiers, Momentum Camp features intensive week-long training in either moguls or freeride with world-class instructors like Trennon Paynter, the Canadian national half pipe coach, John Smart, camp founder and two-time Olympian in freestyle skiing, and, now, Alex Bilodeau. The five-lane terrain park and the eight-lane mogul course are located on Blackcomb’s Horstman Glacier, serviced by a T-bar lift.

Many of Momentum Camp's alumni have gone on to Olympic glory: Dale Begg-Smith, 2006 gold and 2010 silver medalist in freestyle skiing, Jennifer Heil, 2006 gold medalist in moguls, Shannon Bahrke, 2002 silver medalist and 2010 bronze medalist in moguls, among others.
