Our sister magazine, Skiing, launched the demo of their new digital product, Skiing Interactive, yesterday. Designed to be fully interactive, and to encorporate multiple media, the demo highlighted personalized gear finders, video content and interactive maps. According to Tom James, the magazine's editorial director, "Skiing Interactive concentrates on new methods for telling stories while involving the user with info-graphics, interactive maps, dynamically controlled imagery and more.”
They'll be putting out 10 issues throughout the winter. So far, it looks pretty enticing.
