Line Prophet 115
The Line Prophet 115 fills a void previously left in the Prophet series. It's super fat, but still carves.
Line has seen immense success from their versatile Prophet series, with widths ranging from 90 mm to 130mm. Previously, the width options jumped from 100- 130mm underfoot, which left a big gap. Enter the Prophet 115. With P-cut technology, this ski seamlessly travels from groomers to powder. Early rise tip and tail allow easy turn initiation (read: they’re easier to ski), and help you float when it’s deep. A metal-structured core adds strength and stability. I had a chance to demo this ski last week, and was seriously impressed by its ability to zip around on the groomers. It’s almost guaranteed that most powder skis will perform in powder, but I wanted to see how all the fatties did on the frontside. I focused on trying skis that were wider than 110 underfoot to see how they carved. Derek Pappas, the local Line skis rep, explained that the Prophet 115’s ability to rail hardpack is due almost exclusively to that P-cut technology. For all the purists out there who don’t believe a powder ski can ski terrain that’s not powder, I challenge you to try this ski. You wont be disappointed.
