The Snowsports Industries America has released details on the number of people participating in winter sports like skiing, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. And despite the poor economy, guess what? More people skied in the winter of 2008-2009 than the previous two years. And believe it or not, snowshoeing is on a rocket-like increase.
According to the Snowsports Industries America, more people participated in snowsports in the winter of 2008-2009 than the previous two years.
