Marker kastle binding recall
Marker and Kastle issued voluntary recalls for a handful of bindings due to a defect that could cause the skier to fall - though no injuries have been reported.
“Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed,” according to a U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission press release.
The recall, which affects about 5,400 units, includes 2010-11 Marker and Kastle Twin Cam bindings with a max DIN setting of 12. Steel springs in the heel pieces could break and cause injuries.
