Snow Eagle Ski Snowboard School
Gray Rocks, Que.
WHY IT'S GREAT Gray Rocks is a tiny mountain with only a few hundred vertical feet of intermediate terrain. Yet for decades, it has been a favorite in ski school surveys. This intimate hotel and hill in French Quebec prides itself on the loyalty of its instructional staff, and proudly cites stories about hotshot instructors who came here only to fail for lack of people skills. Gray Rocks coddles families and pays special attention to children. Here you'll find multi-day group instruction at its very finest. Students feel they have the entire mountain to themselves, because 80 percent of all guests are in lessons.
SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY "Gray Rocks' trademark practice is to encourage group camaraderie to enhance learning in its 'mountain classroom,' a safe and uncrowded environment."
DISTINGUISHING QUALITIES Gray Rocks provides an on-snow cruise-ship experience, where social events are as important as instruction. Enthusiastic, fully certified instructors develop a lighthearted group spirit that carries over to lunch, dinner and evening festivities. Many loyal guests return year after year.
