Line Skis

Tester's Review

So like some entitled too-cool slacker, the Influence showed up late on Deep Snow day, and tired testers, already 15 Snowbird runs into their biggest category of the week, had to jam it in. Good thing it's such a hard ski to stay mad at. Supple and playful, surefooted but never demanding, it was a re-energizer for exhausted quads. Opinions differed, but its fans were adamant. "It loves everything about skiing."

"Like a never-ending recess. This ski was nothing but good times," said one Colorado tester of the well-balanced Bacon. Logging one of the highest playfulness scores of the test, it proved to be spinny and poppy in soft snow, yet it could rattle off snappy short-radius carves on hardpack with ease. Looking for an everyday powder ski that could run a NASTAR slalom? Behold your weapon.

Eric Pollard has been tinkering with the skis, artwork, and style of Line for years. His newest pro-model series is the result of years of experience. Mr. Pollard's Opus is his preferred weapon for everything he does on snowfrom steeps to cliffs to crud bumps in the resort. Its rockered tip and tail will help it float, while camber underfoot and tight turn radius will help it maneuver in firmer conditions. It's inspired by the backcountry freestyle movement but intended to perform all over the mountain.
