Ortovox Freerider

Girls go big too, so Ortovox designed the 22-liter Freerider to keep up. To start, the hydration-compatible Freerider has a rugged spine-protector that meets European safety standards. A tricked-out organization system keeps your probe, shovel, snow-study tools, and maps easily accessible in the front pocket, while the main compartment is big enough for extra layers, goggles, gloves and other small necessities. Water-resistant zips keep your extra layers dry, and durable straps carry skis diagonally or A-frame-style. Feeling jealous fellas? Ortovox makes men’s versions of the Freerider, too. --Even the sharpest ski edges can’t cut through the rubberized A-frame ski-carry straps. They’re wide enough to accommodate skis with tails up to 150 millimeters wide.
--The Neoprene hip-belt secures with Velcro and buckles to keep the pack and back protector in place during the occasional tomahawk.
--The integrated helmet-carry system keeps the pack centered and properly weighted while skinning.
--The main compartment is accessed through a large front clamshell zipper or through the back compartment.
--Glove-friendly zipper pulls are easy to manipulate.
--Heavy-duty ski strap buckles come with easy-to-use cam adjustments.
--Stash pockets keep diagonal-ski-carry straps low profile when not in use.
--Beefy padded back panel provides both comfort and protection when combined with the spine-protection system.
