Winter Park/Copper Mountain, CO Sept. 1, 2004 - Skiers and riders can grab great deals at Winter Park and Copper Mountain this season with a reduction in prices and blackout dates for the Four Pass and a new rental pass program for affordable deals on rental equipment. Sales begin Sept. 3, 2004 and will include individual resort season passes and the dual-mountain Rocky Mountain Super Pass.
Copper's Four Pass will be sold for $69 this year, down $20 from last season, while Winter Park's Four Pass will be sold for $89, down $10. These price reductions offer Front Range skiers and snowboarders the opportunity to hit the slopes for as little as $18 per day for four days at Copper and $23 per day for four days at Winter Park. Four passes are not interchangeable between the resorts and are not valid Dec. 28-Jan. 01, Jan. 15-16 and Feb. 18-19, providing three more days of potential riding or skiing than last season. Four Pass sales begin Sept. 3 at participating Front Range King Soopers stores, the Cherry Creek Shopping Center Guest Service Desk and at Pass Wagon events across the state.
Rental Pass/ Lease Program
New this winter, Breeze/Max, Copper and Winter Park will offer a variety of rental passes and an equipment lease program to give skiers and riders a convenient opportunity to check out the latest winter equipment. Details are as follows:
transferable, four-day ski and snowboard rental pass that is valid throughout the season with the exception of Dec. 28-Jan. 01, Jan. 15-16 and Feb. 18-19
non-transferable rental pass that can be used daily, all season long, to rent the latest, top-of-the-line skis and snowboards
lease top-of-the-line skis throughout the season with four opportunities to swap equipment; plus the first 200 skiers who take advantage of the lease program receive a free down jacket valued at $169
Rental passes and the lease program will be valid at select USA Breeze/ Max rental location, Winter Park West Portal Rentals, The Jane Shop in the Mary Jane base area and select Copper rental locations.
