JILL SICKLES-MATLOCK thrives as an instructor at one of the toughest mountains on the continent: Crested Butte, Colo. She's famous for her lessons in extreme terrain but is just as content teaching beginners. She calmly bonds with each of her students, offering simple suggestions and relevant feedback. She's also a member of the PSIA Demonstration Team (an elite team of instructors), which is a testament to her excellence on her home hill.
