DENVER COLO., Nov. 17, 2004--The official start of the ski season kicked off Tuesday, when Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper teamed up with Winter Park Resort, Copper Mountain, and Warren Miller Entertainment for a ride the rails exhibition on the "West Steps Rail" of the Colorado State Capitol.
Working in conjunction with Warren Miller Entertainment and their latest movie release "IMPACT," Winter Park and Copper Mountain freeride team members performed for the Mayor on the original "West Steps Rail" introducing him to the first in a series of themed rail replicas while Warren Miller captures the event on film for potential use in an upcoming Copper Mountain segment.
