Whistler, BC, April 1, 2003 - This year's TELUS World Ski & Snowboard Festival is featuring non-stop action sport movies on the big screen with a world premiere showing of Kranked 5 and two film festivals by Biglines.com and Sawtooth Films. Kranked 5: After an absence of nearly two years, Radical Films explodes into the consciousness of the Freeride phenomenon with Kranked 5: In Concert. Harnessing the most awesome new talent the mountain bike world has ever seen, Kranked 5 features RedBull Rampage winners Tyler Klassen and Darren Berrecloth, style master Thomas Vanderham, infamous trials master Ryan Leech, Aussie Speed Demon Johnny Waddell, the Superhero?s Aaron Peters, Gareth Dyer, Brian O and Randy Spangler, and Andrew Shandro. Kicking off the World Tour in Canada, Kranked 5 will premiere at TELUS World Ski & Snowboard Festival at 6:30pm and 9pm on April 13th at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler's Macdonald Ballroom. Sawtooth Adrenaline Film Festival: This year, Sawtooth Films returns to the Festival with a collection of adventure and adrenaline films featuring kayaking, mountain biking, base jumping, kite boarding, skiing and even unicycling. Sawtooth Films has been entertaining audiences for four years with its adrenaline charged film tours throughout the United States, New Zealand, South Africa and Canada. Sawtooth Films presentations showcase the safe execution of extreme and adventurous sports by experienced professionals, and draw a highly motivated audience. Sawtooth Films selects footage and segments from the newest, most adrenaline charged, and daring sports films of the year.
