Among a crowd of power boots, the sapphire blue newcomer held its own on all testing fronts: strength, quickness, dynamic balance and comfort. Testers put the boot well toward the top in agility scores and frequently mentioned that the boot's lower cuff height enhanced snow feel. Testers loved the Spyre 110's generally tight fit throughout the lower boot, but some found a bit of inconsistency in the tension. Subsequent custom liner heat mold tests smoothed the fit, especially over the midfoot and in the toebox. The features are straightforward and functional. A dual cuff alignment set-up offers a broad 4.4-degrees of total lateral cuff adjustment range. That’s a huge attraction for women with bowleg or knock-knee leg shaft angles. The removable and grippy soles and padded outsole arch area make for impact dampened walking on hard surfaces and surety when boot packing. A 35mm Velcro power strap teams with a conventional four-buckle overlap set-up to provide closure surety. Tester Comments: "Best balance of the narrow boots. Great lateral response."
