Alternatives to Chairlift Speed-Dating
21st Annual Mountaintop Matrimony—Loveland (Colo.)
Always wanted to say “I do” mountainside? On February 14, couples getting married or renewing their commitment will gather outside the Ptarmigan Roost Cabin atop Loveland Basin’s Chair #2 for a mass wedding.
“It’s definitely more laid-back than a traditional wedding. We tailor the ceremony to celebrate our guests’ love of the mountains and, of course, each other,” said John Sellers, Loveland’s marketing director.
Not only is it possible to avoid renting out that cathedral your future mother-in-law wants you to tie the knot in, you and your spouse-to-be can also ski two-for-one in an ultimate expression of wedded bliss, unity, and thriftiness. Wedding cake and beer will be provided for all pre-registered couples.
