The Best of Mountain Golf
The Best of Mountain Golf | Stowe Mountain Club, Stowe, Vermont

Stowe Mountain Club – Stowe, VT The newest course on our list is also one of the most decorated in the press. Stowe Mountain Club has earned accolades from GOLF Magazine (one of the 10 Best New Courses in North America, 2008), Golfweek (Best Courses You Can Play and #1 Golf Course in Vermont, 2010) and Golf Digest (Top Courses for Women, 2009) and is about as New England as you can get. From the acres of protected forestland surrounding the course to the wildlife crossing the greens, Stowe is a very cool experience through and through. Created by Bob Cupp, the course is 6400 yards long and comes in at a par 72. The dramatic elevation gain (+400 feet) gives incredible views of the ski slopes surrounding the course and the Little River Valley below. Did we leave off your favorite course?
