While Deer Valley and Park City Mountain Resort are all relatively empty during Sundance week, nothing compares to the sheer size of the newly expanded Canyons Resort. With 4,000 skiable acres, Canyons is the largest resort in Utah and the third largest in the U.S. This season, the resort added 300 acres and 10 runs thanks to the Iron Mountain lift. And on cold January days, you’ll appreciate the heated seats of the brand new Orange Bubble Express (not to mention the absence of lift lines). Bring a ski buddy. You might get lonely.
