Buried in the East
Shredding Nemo

Winterstorm Nemo went coastal on us—what do you expect from a storm named after a fish?—but skiers nevertheless enjoyed bountiful snowfalls throughout New England. (Shown here: Saturday action at Loon Mountain, N.H.) Nashoba, Mass., (240 vertical) appears to have reaped that most Nemo powder, with a legit 30 inches. Wachusett had only slightly less. Mad props to all those Massachusetts powder hounds who made it to the hill on Saturday, defying the governor’s ban on travel and risking a year in jail for some freshies. There’s more snow in the forecast today, and early signs of another dump this weekend.
