Deep Snow Mens
No. 12: Dynastar Cham 127

MSRP: $900.00

Tip/Waist/Tail: 149-127-141

Length: 189

Dynastar calls Chamonix, France, home, and the surrounding Alps there might just be big enough to accommodate the leader of the new Cham line of new-school powder surfers. Super-wide, drastically rockered, and tapered at the extremities for ultimate deep-snow performance, the 127 was easily No. 1 in Flotation. It was also dead last among winners in Quickness and Hard Snow but so obviously good at what it does that testers thought it belonged among the gold-medal skis. “Needs both snow and speed in large doses.” The Cham Series is designed for powder performance and all mountain prowess. The secret comes from a combination of proven sandwich/laminate construction, five-point sidecut, rockered tips, and camber underfoot. The Cham 127 is the biggest and most aggressive in the family.
