But of course, we’re not there just for the hot tub—we came for the skiing. FWA has terrain to accommodate guests of all ability levels, a mix of mellow glades and challenging tree runs, with guides having the option to crank it up a notch when they have a solid group of skiers. When the group has the ability, the guides deliver the goods, exploring gems such as the Big Quarry, Little Quarry, Rock Garden, and White Russian. “The weather has been a little warm lately, but we will ski fresh tracks,” says our guide Matt Noseworthy. While the weather isn’t optimal on this early spring trip, we are treated to fresh tracks on most runs. FWA provides a staff photographer for each snowcat, so you’ll have proof of that 20-footer you hucked.
