Getting Dirty in Winter Park
Downhill mountain biking
Photo: Tess Weaver

When the snow turns to dirt, the activity that most closely mimics skiing is downhill mountain biking. Aside from loading a chair lift and descending down a ski resort, downhilling also copies skiing in that it exercises the skiing muscle groups while improving balance, agility and stamina.
