Back in 1984, three Vancouverites trekked up to Whistler to check out the ski scene. They liked what they saw (and skied) and stayed to open Sushi Village. Fresh B.C. salmon, tuna, prawns, and snapper come in daily from Vancouver. Other menu standouts include the Super Hiro Roll (spicy tuna roll wrapped with thinly sliced avocado), spicy tofu, and legendary sake margaritas (strawberry, lime, melon, and banana). After all, you know a restaurant is good when it’s the de facto gathering spot for Whistler Village chefs on their nights off.
