It started snowing early this season and didn't stop much. Resorts from California to Colorado broke their snowfall records, with Vail and Breckenridge topping out at over 500 inches (they generally average somewhere in the mid 300s), and Mammoth saw its snowiest month ever in March. Jackson Hole, Grand Targhee, and a handful of Utah resorts were close to record levels as well. What's better news? That next season could be just as good.
