In a stretch of just 10 days between March 16-25, Squaw Valley received 203 inches of snow. Put another way, the mountain received about 45% of its average annual snow in just 5% of the days that it is open for skiing. And the dumpage extended across all the Tahoe resorts. Here’s how the atmosphere conspired to create a March that locals will remember for a long time.
