Either way, Kids Night Out programs are sprouting up at ski resorts countrywide with a singular goal: to give parents a quiet evening while their children are entertained in a supervised, safe environment. And if the offspring have a blast in the process, everyone wins. Check out these five options.

Where: Children’s Ski & Snowboard Center in the Village at Northstar
Ages: 4–12 Details: Kids Night Out starts with pizza and salad from Rubicon Pizza Company in the village then heads outside for s’mores by the fire pit followed by ice skating or bungee jumping. The night finishes inside with games and a movie.
When: 5–9 p.m. every Friday
