Powder Day
Let’s get one thing out in the open: Beaver Creek is better known for world class grooming than for deep stashes. Ultimately, that’s good news for everyone. While others seek out the meticulously groomed 805 acres, you and your pals should head to Larkspur Bowl, a beautiful scooped out run whose center is always groomed and whose left-hand side often has boot-deep powder. Then head to the west end of Grouse Mountain for a tree-skiing powder fest down Royal Elk Glades. You’re more likely to run into an elk than another skier here.
