As usual, K2 is leading the industry: Every single ski in its new line has some form of rocker. Even its hard-snow, frontside skis, like the new 86 mm–waisted Aftershock, have what they call "speed rocker," an early rising tip that moves the ski's contact point with the snow farther back to make turn initiation easier. Its intermediate skis employ "catch free" rocker, which means the tail is slightly rockered, too, which makes for easier turn transitions at slower speeds.
