Getting to a great line isn’t always easy; it can take a little work. You might have to shimmy, sideslip, or do a series of falling leaves to position yourself. In those situations, a cambered tail can be an Achilles’ heel, especially if it gets caught on a chunk of snow or hung up on the wall of an entry. And forget about going backward. But you can bet a rockered tail won’t catch. Just like a rockered tip, it will smear and turn easily.
