We’ve said it before: It’s good to see Rossi, as iconic a ski brand as any, on its game. In last year’s test at Snowbird, it was the only brand to go 11-for-11, winning medals in every category it entered. Now next year’s stuff looks even more formidable.
Rossi treated us to some runs on the new 7 series this week at Copper Mountain. Even on firm groomers (off-piste conditions were too thin for precious sample skis), the personality of the skis shined through brightly.
The key models in the series (meaning most commercial) are the Soul 7 for men and the Savory for women—both 106 mm in the waist—but in all there are seven models (naturally), ranging in width from 98 to 120 mm for men and from 98 to 116 mm for women.
