Summer Road Trips: Crested Butte, CO
Road Trip game plan

Participate: After an epic day of high-altitude singletrack, drink and eat to your heart’s delight at the Crested Butte Wine and Food Festival Grand Tasting from 4-7pm on Jully 23rd.

Eat: For breakfast: Camp 4 Coffee; lunch: Teocalli Tamale; dinner: The Stash (expect a long wait) drinks: The Dogwood Cocktail Cabin

Sleep: The Lodge at Mountaineer Square is offering one night of lodging and two grand tasting tickets for $136 per person during the Crested Butte Wine and Food Festival.

Built in 1919 as a miner's hotel, the Elk Mountain Lodge offers a bike storage room, bike stand, pump and washing station, as well as maps and books on local rides. The lodge even offers loaner townie bikes to cruise town. http://www.elkmountainlodge.com

Must-do: After 401, try Teocalli Ridge for a great climb and Deadman's Gulch (Reno Flag Bear Deadman’s), a classic longer ride.
